NATURAL PATH
The Natural Path (or Divine Natural Path), known as Kamnagara no Michi in Japanese, forms the foundation of Shinto, existing before structured dogma was introduced, and remains deeply connected to the wisdom of Nature itself.
Nature is the sacred book of the Divine Natural Path—a universal source of wisdom, accessible to all, regardless of language, location, or time. Through intuition, we learn to “read” this book, sharpening our ability to interpret what Nature reveals. At precise moments, wisdom emerges, guiding us toward the next step in our journey of actualization. As long as the Universe exists, so does this ever-unfolding source of truth.
In Japanese, the word for Nature, shizen (自然), carries deep meaning. The first character, shi (自), means “self,” while the second, zen (然), means “thus” or “as is.” Together, shizen expresses “self as is,” embodying the essence of actualization. Within Nature, all life follows a harmonious flow through the four Elements—Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Complete actualization occurs when a being experiences the full cycle of existence, from pre-birth to death. Yet, even when life is unexpectedly shortened, actualization unfolds to one extent or another.
Rutanda offers profound insights into this path, illuminating the idealized stages of life. In time, courses will be available to explore these teachings without physical movement, yet maintaining deep study and understanding. Your patience is deeply appreciated as these offerings take shape.
Following this path opens the door to profound self-discovery. As we attune ourselves to Nature’s rhythms and wisdom, we uncover truths about our own essence—revealing a deeper sense of purpose, renewal, and connection. In this way, the Divine Natural Path is complemented by the practice of Rutanda, offering an avenue for awakening one’s full potential.
